The Land Cruiser, with a 60 year history, is the oldest car model in Japan. Starting as a military light utility vehicle for the most rugged of terrain, the Land Cruiser, after years of development and growth, has grown into the Land Cruiser we all know and love today.
With the Land Cruiser family growing, its popularity doesn't seem to be fading any time soon. Toyota unveiled the new Land Cruiser that was released to the market on August 17th, 2015. With a 4.6L V8 engine, and a 6 speed transmission, it has the ability to power through all the sand and gravel that gets in your way. You may want to stay away from boulders though, those could be hazardous to your health, if they are large enough.
With the standard 5 or 8 seats, you can bus your family, and carry all of your groceries for the barbecue and then some. The 20inch wheels on the ZX model gives it heavier non-suspended weight, lowering the fuel efficiency a little bit, but the sleek look is totally worth it in my opinion. Of course, if you are looking for fuel efficiency, you are probably looking at the wrong car. This bad boy drinks gasoline like water, putting out an impressive 6 - 7km/liter. So I suggest you go with a Passo or something, if you are looking for fuel efficient cars.
